Fall is here!

Hello all,

I have been a horrible blogger lately! Sorry it has been so long since my last update! Since I last blogged, Baby Anders has certainly grew (along with my belly!). We had our last visit with the Dr. October 13. I have gained 3 lbs in about a month for a grand total of 6 so far. The heartrate was about 141 and we FINALLY made our appointment for our ultrasound. We will find out the sex of Baby Anders on Nov. 10 and we are so excited we even to get to share this appointment with both of our mothers! I'm not sure any of us can wait! :)

I will say that 2nd trimester is one million, billion times better than 1st trimester. All the nausea, sleepiness, gagging, and grumpiness is GONE! I think its safe to say Jim is loving 2nd trimester as well :)

Some new symptoms:

-COOKING! I begin thinking about a week ahead what I am going to come up with for the week and with the help of e-mealz.com, I'm having some great ideas! I am also enjoying making yummy fall desserts! I'm pretty sure my weight will skyrocket on this next visit!
-Cleaning...Ive always been a clean fanatic but its definitely hit an all time high!
-Grilled chesse sandwiches (or any cheese product), apple juice, oatmeal, peach yogurt, and grapes! Mmmmm, my mouth is watering as I write this.
-Baby Anders is really asking for any type of chocolate and Dr. Pepper. I try to fit these cravings in moderation, of course :)
-Pregnesia! I've have always heard about it but now its getting bad! Its kinda funny to me though :)
-Of course the BEST symptom now is feeling the baby move. I usually feel it more after laying down a bit, after eating sweets and always before bed. Lately, we can even see my tummy twitch when the baby kicks! It might just be the most wonderful feeling either of us has ever experienced.

When he has not been busy with work, Jim has been busy getting ready for deer season. He is very excited to be on this lease in South Texas and getting very antsy to get that big buck this year. Hopefully, he will find some time to get some duck hunting and fishing time in as well (but I think its a safe bet to say he will, haha). I have been busy with Jr. League which is a volunteer service organization geared toward helping the area kids. We are having a big "Charity Ball" in early November that is our biggest fundraiser of the fall season and I am looking forward to going to that (hopefully the dress I bought yesterday will still fit in a couple weeks!

We are also excited that my brother will soon be home for good from Iraq and then see him and Ryan come down for the A&M vs. Baylor game. Ryan loves A&M and he always enjoys coming to Aggieland so this will be a fun trip for us all. We also cannot wait to finally meet Baby Glueck! Erin is due October 28 and we cannot wait to finally see our little niece or nephew in the next week or two.

We hope everyone has a great week and I promise I will get better at updating this thing! :)

With love,
Jim, Nik, and Baby Anders
